Jostaberry is blooming. I don't actually like the taste of them much, but it is thriving and the silkies love them.

I can't claim I was ever a normal teenager. I can say that planting spring garden was normal in my small town when I was that age. As well as the side beds in the yard and around the house. Things are different now.

I have some old kerosene lamps that were grandpa's. Don't have any kerosene, though. Maybe should get some. Mom always used one when we lost power. Her bathroom has a sconce she bought back in the 70s that has three mirrors behind it and uses votives. It reflects the light around really well.
