Had two eggs for breakfast. Different to "crack" than a chicken or duck egg. I found a quail egg cutter on-line to purchase, but don't like to purchase kitchen gadgets if I don't need to. I will work on streamlining opening quail eggs for now.
I give my goose muscovy eggs to hatch every year, since I don't want anymore geese. She has to hatch and take care of something, or she will get depressed and stop eating.
She has just one duckling now that hatched. Actually I had to interfere and break out of the shell. She was hard on the...
Received a good amount and much needed of rain yesterday afternoon. Planted extra tomato plants in the cold frame last night, and most have small tomatoes.

I do love the smell of mint when I walk on it or disturb it. It's not worth having it though. I planted it at our last house, and decided I would never plant it again. However, it was already well established at this house when we moved here.
I love Creeping Charlie and encourage it.
My ankle is much better this morning. So glad. Yesterday I had my ankle wrapped and used a cane, carefully maneuvering with every step. Still watered plants yesterday evening. I have so much to do, so very happy that it's a short term injury.
