Chickens used to stay in that shed, so there's a door that leads out into the penned area, so they can all go outside. I hope they go back in at night like chickens do.

I would pay more for diapers, but for others things, I'll make it if I can. I was making bread often for awhile, as bread has been expensive for awhile (the kind we ate anyway). We don't eat much bread anymore.
We live in Sandhill Crane territory. They visit nearby farmers' fields. One year we walked the creek that runs through the back of our property, and came to the place where the creek turns into a shallow lake where the cranes nest. It was an awesome experience.
Meat and fish can be eaten, but must be fresh. No shellfish, and no meat or fish sitting around unthawed, and no deli meats.
Also, although some foods are not high histamine, such as dairy, wheat products, and sugar, they raise histamine levels in the body. Preservatives are also an issue...
I freeze most produce. The only thing I can is tomato products, but last year I froze all of the tomato sauce. Everything is fresher tasting frozen vs. canning, and I don't tolerate anything canned because of histamine.
