the south field was starting to look fuzzy from all the thistles blooming and setting seeds again. the owner previously said he would mow it again but he didn't.
i noticed it this morning when i went out to weed and water so after i came in from that i gave him a ring. turns out he didn't...
we had lunch out today with my brother and nephew at our favorite chinese place. brought home a few goodies. i suspect it might be a challenge to ignore them until tomorrow but i'll give it a try.
also a slight leak might be just from some gunk on the flapper, so if you clean the flapper that might be all it takes and also be careful about how you clean the seat that it fits against.
we had a few drops of rain yesterday, certainly would have been nicer to have more. 30% chances the next few days and then things cooling off. i'm not going to put any pressure on myself to do any heavy gardening until it does cool off. just a few hours of weeding here or there until then...

can you get a metal blade attachment for your trimmer? gotta be careful with it because it will go right through fences or edges of plastic or wood but for cutting harder things it does the job.
