could be worse, could be a plumber... i think it is a great world where i can call someone to come fix something that i'd rather not deal with and hand them a few pieces of colored paper with some numbers on them and it's done.

trying to drain the hot water heater, not sure it's draining. oh well, the plumber will be here eventually...

thanks, :) i think it will be ok. i've been through so much since i was a teenager with back injuries and various other things too so this is not a mystery, but overall much better in recent years compared to about the 35 years before. chiropractor got me straightened out, gardening keeps me...

that's about two week's for me...

there's a certain part in the middle of my back which never does well when i'm having to pull out really hard weeds and while i'm not doing that too often once in a while i still do it and then i yell at myself for doing it because i could do it another way and not cause myself pain. duh... :)...

i have a lot of Beaver Dam peppers that are already starting to turn so they can be picked at any time. i think i can give a few away to my nephew when he comes over this week and perhaps someone else...

the fenced gardens are weeded at last. about six weeks later than normal... now gotta get back to outside the fence a few gardens can use more weeding. at least i did get the big garden along the pathway mostly weeded a few weeks ago so it just needs some cleaning up in a few spots now and...

hamburger stew, or refridgerator surprise... sounds good to me too.

i am now going to get breakfast and go outside. it is much nicer out today so i better get it done while i can.

that's an extreme version of sock golf i've not heard of before... but you do know that some people are just not right in the head? sometimes children or even adults just aren't developed right and their brains don't work very well. i often look in the mirror and wonder about myself too...

never! i stand and eat over the kitchen sink more than i eat sitting down so i was in fact eating over the sink for at least anything that involved crumbs or out-of-hand gnoshing. i still haven't gotten as far as breakfast this morning as it was interrupted by hot water heater barfing out on us.

Mom was running a load of wash this morning and came to me saying that things were gurgling and the water was running black. so first thing is to listen and then turn off the hot water heater electricity and then turn off the well pump, bleed out any pressure then go and look in the crawlspace...

last night was pretty much whatever leftovers and odd things i could find. so it started with a few slices of ham that was getting old, ice-cream, potato chips, peanuts, cookies, some broccoli with cheese melted on top and a bowl of watermelon. we have plenty of veggie soup in the fridge but...

wow, just wow... :(

got out to mow today which started by me digging a hole and burying some food scraps and also while i was there i weeded around that hole to make sure it had plenty of goodies in there for the worms to enjoy. weather was perfect. :)

almost every run of pipe in this house leaked when it was newly built. some of them i fixed by simply tightening something that was loose. i think ex-step-dad pissed off the plumber (quite possible) who was about to retire and the guy didn't care about his reputation. we still have one leak...

sweet, it's raining now. :) it looks like it will be raining a while and just enough to keep soaking in and not running off too much. we really can use exactly this kind of rain instead of those heavy downpours that we've been getting.
