Broke out the crock pot this morning and started a roast. Half a bottle of red wine, a pkg of dry, beefy onion soup, onions and garlic and yummy! Some mashed potatoes (1/2 cup serving size) and steamed broccoli. We showed great restraint and didn't throw a pan of cornbread in the oven... :(

You are definitely NOT the only nut case, lol. I've been willingly fulfilling that role for many, many years! I mean - who wants a boring 'normal' life? Eeeeek! These guys have already been doing a little rooting in some soft ground. They're not really going more than about an inch deep...

Rooting is a negative for some folks - but I am not opposed to it in certain areas. They can root out weeds and turn the soil while fertilizing it. Not a terrible thing...

Yep - all my plans fell apart for multiple reasons. Turns out that I know some people who know the owners of the pigs and I got part of the back story. They have some real challenges with a special needs child and the sale of these pigs are hopefully going to help them out. I'm a real softie...
