When I was in 5th and 6th grade in Universal City/Cibolo Texas, my favorite meal at a local hole in the wall restaurant was onion and cheese enchiladas. I still remember them all these decades later!
Pulled the entire garden yesterday. Sprinkled some seeds for winter soil building. Covered them with the pulled zuc, squashes, eggplants, and some tomatoes.
I did buy it. And I've been drying veggies mostly. I've yet to try any protein; not interested in candy; Oh I did some fruit. Those took a long time!!
Most has been going into mylar bags and some into canning jars. Good thing my son pays the electric bill!!
I turned off the water for all beds. I need to rip them up. I did buy some cover crop seeds from Territorial Seeds. I'm hoping that they add substance to my raised beds.
Here is where Hinotori and I live. I'm in a tiny county at the lowest part of the state. We are D2.

Bet you didn’t know that a goat burps one to four times a minute! How about humans? One unscientific study found they burp on average about 30 times a day. So, moral of the story: Don’t get into a burping contest with a goat!
I'm cooking a rabbit right now. It was gifted to me. DD sent me an authentic recipe from the other side of the world. I'll let you know how it tastes. Never had rabbit.
One jar of 2021 home canned chicken. One jar of 2021 pinto beans. Toss in cooked butterfly pasta, some fresh anaheim chilis, some dehydrated onions and zuc, lots of spices, toss with cheese. Bake for 70 min.
YUM!!!!!
