    Yum...going to try the tortillas! Saved $ by living in the country and friends that live in the city called to see if they could come out. They brought brats and supper along. Great..then their dog can run with ours. Great to have good friends that feel comfortable enough to invite themselves...

    Things in the greenhouse are doing well. Planted some seeds into pots (pumpkins, squash and the like) and the next day the seeds are all dug up and eaten. Mice? Have to try again...little stinkers!:rant

    I work in Labor and Delivery as a Labor Tech. We also use midwives and OB/GYNs. I have seen many amazing births and some not so great. Everyone has to be their own advocate and let everyone know what their expectations are. And then tell them again. We live close to a few Amish and Mennonite...

    Beautiful Moon Tonight? (3/19)

    What did you do to save $ today?

    I am off work for three days. I figure I save alot each day I stay home. Starting last years seeds, doing some sewing and taking care of our animals, making soup. So enjoyable...... I work 12 hour shifts fri, sat and sunday.

    Yoga

    When I practice yoga I feel so much better. I really feel connected and can tune into what my body is doing and feeling better. Don`t give up. There are a lot of different poses, find some that work best for you.

    You could dehydrate it. I add it to soups that way. Our favorite way is to grill it. We cut it into small chunks, add a little onion, butter and sprinkle some water on it. Wrap in in a nice foil pouch. Throw it on the grill, turning often. Depending on the amount it takes about 30 min. It...

    I am surprised everytime I do dishes of how many canning jars I wash each week. And thankful of all the canning I did this fall. A great feeling and I am busy looking @ seed catalogs during yet another big snowfall. :love
