Same here. Last yr a doe had what appeared to be one black & one brown. A week later strange coloring. A month later, two dappled bucks! 😁. I really had to figure out who they were, one day.

I've certainly used it that way! Very nice if power goes out. Plus the stone surround absorbs heat to share back into the room, so there's efficiency in that. And it looks nice. 😊 Electric bill way down when I use that for heat. But propane can be $$. I keep a CO2 detector in the room.
