taco goulash. Mom was making taco salad for people and had some left over meat (well actually i made it for her) so i put some of it in with some macaroni and tomatoes.

it really just might be how Mom is doing things too. there be gremlins...

to me they are wimpy cabbage flavor - i like 'em browned on the edges which adds some extra.

we normally don't grow carrots here (too much clay in most gardens and too many critters that will eat them), but also i like turnips fried enough to get a little brown on the edges. i'm sure i'd like them though as i do like either of them alone enough and a combination would be fine. :)

i hate cleaning so much that i had breakfast and went back to sleep and then when i woke up i laid there for an hour pretending i was asleep so i wouldn't have to get up. to put an end to the shenanigans i just got up and told myself i am not cleaning today so at least i can do something else...

at one time i met that guy. back in the ages when we used to have gatherings of usenet/internet friends that would meet in different areas just to have fun, cook, talk in person and do touristy things. the rise of f*b*k pretty much killed off those things for me as so many people left to go...

not really. i encourage her to wear a hat as it does really help to be warmer.

all this warm weather is going to melt all the snow (which isn't much at this point but at least it is white and bright instead of gray, brown and bits of green...). and speaking of bits of green there are bits of green all over the place from the deer eating the cedar trees and digging down...

anything with cheese seems to tempt me way too much and i'll burn myself often enough like that. pizza right out of the oven when i should know better.

i did a lot of caulking of cracks and foam filling of some gaps and that really did help. i used to feel drafts in my room when the wind blew and now i don't. so over the years since i did it it has probably paid for itself already. there's a lot of edges to our siding...
