My husband LOVED the chunks of oatmeal in one of my batches. I do grind mine, but he loved the scrubi-ness of those pieces of oatmeal. He probably would have liked what you tossed.

The homemade snack that "goes over" best at my house is the old fashioned cookie. Lots and lots of recipes for those! Why don't you make granola cookies? We love to spread Nutella on the bottom of a cookie and then sandwich it with a second cookie (especially good with peanut butter cookies)...

I have mine ready too, whenever. Mine is goat milk soap with oatmeal and honey, and the scent is Black Amber and Lavender, kind of a brown color but we like it very much, kind of a bath scrubby type bar or facial soap.
