well we got our warm up, now we have another problem... our yard is a flooded swamp! i keep thinking if i look hard enough i will see some gaters out there! all the local creeks are out of their banks and the thawing has just started! and we have chances of precipitation all week! *sigh*

i am lucky- i live near the nauvoo winery. they sell everything you need to make wine, and i just go in and tell them what kind of wine and the amount and they get me the best yeast for the type i am making.

wine is easy. we have 5 gal of strawberry kiwi ready to bottle...

we have a lot of nails and screws (we buy them at the farm store on sale for .10 cents each.) and several 5 gal jugs of wine brewing. and other wine bottled on the shelf. (if we run out of food we can still get drunk)

well dozer is now chipped. and we have new locks on all the doors. i hate that we have to use them! the weather is supposed to be warmer for the weekend, yay!

well from good news to bad- we lost the old blind pony yesterday. last winter was hard on him, and i knew things werent looking good for him cause no matter how many blankets i had on him he still shivered. he has slowly lost weight all winter- he did this last winter also. but we were hoping...

yes. if it was a random break-in, there was my laptop and a gun dh just sleaned on the table 3 feet from his kennel. and 2 other hand guns less than 10 feet from his cage that they had to walk by to go to him (in very plain sight). there is a safe (unlocked at the time) that had other handguns...
