I used to love hitting yard sales but nowadays all I ever see is people trying to get rid of kids clothes and shoes. None of which I can use. If there is something interesting in a newspaper ad I'll check a yard sale out but otherwise I don't shop at them anymore.

That's pretty cool! I've seen other contests like this before. They held some once I think that had the boats needed to be 100% cardboard. It was pretty fun watching them try to paddle along as the boats fell apart.
