Okay just an update- I found the turkey! I went out one last time with a flashlight and she was sitting in plain view beside the boat. Funny thing is I had looked around under AND in that boat before. I was so relieved she didn't get in the highway or in the neighbors yard.

I wanted to have an auto start thingy put on my car, but now I'm not so sure! I know from experience dragging up wood for a fire to keep warm can really wear someone out! It did me at least and I wasn't recovering from anything.
