I've been getting it at Costco. Actually not a bad price when you consider one container makes two meals. I can't remember now what I pay for it, but it comes in a tub already shelled. Can't beat the convenience.

Last night crab cakes and tonight chicken alfredo. Simple meals this week. Yes, I make my own crab cakes, but they are very easy to make, so not a big deal at all.

I just put mine directly into the crock pot with some onions, carrots and celery. Lovely broth has been made!!!

It was taco Wednesday here. Great leftover sirloin roast in homemade corn tortillas with roasted Anaheim chilis, cilantro, avocado, salsa and sour cream. Homemade refrieds to go with. Our normal Wednesday fare.

Great idea on the tomato basil sauces converted to tomato basil soup!!! We're having spicy ahi poke with coconut rice and stir fried veggies.

We had stew for dinner tonight, made all day in the crock pot. I thought it was pretty normal for a house that eats foods with robust flavors, but DH loved it. Maybe I need to make more all American foods. lol
