Too many catagories doing it that way. SS hasn't grown up big enough yet to split things that much.

I agree that the animal and garden focus is different than you would find on easy garden or BYH. Although some of us at BYH are VERY SS in our animal practices, even though we have fairly large operations, I still think the forum would benefit from it.

Why not call it "The Tool Shed" Gets the point across it is about tools rather than projects.

One other thing this system does is make moderators more accountable for actions because what they do is recorded. So no moderator can take action that can't be reviewed. So the real pressure of the system is put on us now.

Doesn't surprise me at all. We have seen it happen before on the other forums also. There are some very good people here.

But here is the problem. You speak about heavy handed not knowing how many of a persons posts had to be deleted because of vulgar and hateful content and how many warnings they had already had. These are the things we see that the members don't.

For two years on byc I had to put Mr. in front of moderator. Looks like I have to do it here too. Everyone always assumes mods on these forums are female.

It can go back to what it was if members and staff can learn to work together. I used to mod this site early on and know what it was like.

Personally I want to know who sent the PM free speaks of. If it was a mod it was way out of line and needs to be dealt with. What I can say is that it was not reported or passed on to the other mods. I hope it is, so that issue can be dealt with. This is one of the biggest issues as I see it...
