Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here... Was 42 overnight, only up to 53 but mostly cloudy and wind is blowing so feels A LOT colder. Went up to do cow and calves, wind was blowing alot up there too. Feel a little more "alive" today at least.. not quite as washed out... Few snow flurries out...

@CrealCritter , didn't think about peaches being stone fruits along with the cherries etc, just that pears and apples were listed and I just naturally think peaches next... Here our mulberries are really tall trees, and this year was a bumper crop... birds went crazy.

No peaches mentioned???? We had Peaches up in CT when the weather still got down in the -5 degrees in the winter and we had alot of snow... Lots of peaches here in VA... Mulberry trees here too...

Sugar maples will give the sweetest syrup... there are different types of maples. Read anything about the size and number of taps... do not over do the tree. Don't know about your climate there. You have to have freezing weather, then as the days start to warm above freezing the sap will...
