That is how my regular cookbook is. Pages are falling out or are bent. Some have writing on them. It has been loved!!! My husband asked if I wanted a new cookbook, but I said no because it would be too much work.

That's a good idea to keep even the recipes that don't work. I can just picture that jar of mush!! :sick

Well I have jumped into this canning thing. I LOVE it! I canned for the 1st time tonight (not counting freezer canning)! Tonight my husband and I made Raspberry Jam. It was pretty easy to do. I think it turned out great! I am pretty proud of myself. I can't wait to taste it!

Oh, good, we can learn together. How did your squash turn out? I can't believe you have some ready. Mine won't be ready until late July or early August! It is so hard to be patient!!!!

If I don't get a pressure canner by the time my veggies are ready, I will just freeze them again this year. I am keeping my eyes open for a good deal too. Yes, it is always nice to have an extra fridge. Mine has been invaluable for storage.
