so after being away from consitent internet use for the last year has kept me from posting or even browsing this site very often but now after a long time looking i have finnaly settled on what will now be my home farm.
i have moved to a great 80 acre farm surrounded by lake ontario...
mrs. puff i agree putting food by is the best canning\preserving book out there i think.
i am down with all those book kinda canning ideas
i guess i am looking for somethings with some personal touch or what ever.

there are lots of csa s running out of the bigger cities here i just dont think it has caught on enough here for the rural communitys yet. i think pricing is a huge factor too! most people in farming\rural communities wont pay the prices that can be got in the bigger...
