    Calling all Canadians.................

BC you pay monthly, amount depends on your income. The highest charge is $54 a month, i think you have to make ovr $30,000 or more, for me with my really low income I don't pay anything. If I had presciptions most would be paid for or a percentage would be.

    Plastic on windows...

Yup I still do, the guy who built my house did a crappy job, the main part is a 1972 mobile then he added rooms on each side. There are 2 newer style windows and the rest are old old ones. One is half plywood, so I have that glued in with that expanding foam and then 2 layers of plastic. I put...

I'm a trained Vet Assistant but never have used it. Currently I haul scrap metal with my truck and trailer, and farm my chickens. I've milked cows for a living for two years, done shipping/receiving and courier driving.

I made some apricot butter a few weeks ago and cut back on about 1/3 of the sugar, it still tastes great, just...

    Ball Blue Book.. opinions....

Thanks for the post, I have been thinking of buying the book but I will now wait and see where this forum goes. I have noticed a lot of recipes call for lots of sugar, I am trying to stay away from that. I do have the Bernardin Book , forget the proper name for it, but it seems good, I haven`t...

    Sometimes I envy the Amish.

I would love to live the way they do. I love the simple way of doing things and taking care of your family.
