Mama pig is feeding her babies so well that they're barely eating feed at all. Without figuring out that I'm the bringer of the goodies they still think I'm the enemy. I need to get 'em to love me so I can catch 'em to sell or gonna have to figure out a way to shuffle 'em into a corner and...

Same. Been up about an hour or so. Body wouldn't stay in bed past 5:30. Brain is trying to tell me that there's something fundamentally wrong with getting up early on a Sunday. Oh well...body won that fight, lol.

Saturday was gardening day! Did some "fill in the gap" planting in the corn bed yesterday. Germination was spotty from the first planting. For the second planting I soaked the seeds for a couple of days and could see the action happening so I hope for better luck. Also re-planted an entire...

I feel your pain! I have young birds coming in to lay and they're adding to the egg load. Pigs and dogs are about to start getting more!

Quiche. No wait - no crust so I guess it was technically a frittata. Mixed up some sour cream and picante to act as a sauce. Had a side-salad and called it good.

Barely! About a quarter second later they scattered, lol! Silly pigs haven't learned to love me yet... :(

FARM DAY!!! My day started with what is very likely the last delivery of this kidding season. Got a big single (so far) buckling. I think this is a one and done delivery, but I've been wrong once many, many years ago! :hide

I was having breakfast in my mulberry tree "orchard" this morning when I discovered that I have a squatter! Nothing like raising babies in the kitchen, lol.

We had an early dinner or a late lunch - however you wanna look at it. Big ol' salad with strips of pork tenderloin and a couple of crackers. Not sure if we'll do anything else for dinner other than a light bite of something - if that.

Glad they're somewhat better - but sorry they're still hurting. That stinks!
