I agree Winston about buying only Certified Organic seed which Baker Creek does not have. It is the only way to be sure you are getting gmo free seed. We get our seed from Sustainable Seed Co. because of they do sell organic, but also have a really strong stance against GMOs. They post it...
There is one. I met this guy in WA that I think lives in OR. He was demonstrating just such a software at a seed swap, but darn if I can't find him on line. I'll keep looking and post if I find him.
We dry them down to 10% moisture and store them in mason jars. We put those mason jars in the root cellar or cool, dark closet. We have great luck and lots of things keep for years. It is how my grandmother used to do it.
