Just have to check to make sure you see HT on the pallets. means heat treated and also means it is ok for bugs, beasts, etc. No chemicals in there as far as I know. As for the hotel they look awesome. Might be something i make for the garden here as well. Brew

Well I went with the aquarium for warmth. I have some wire floor hutches and they will be the home for the next litter. I added the wire to the bottom of the next box to help with cleaning and because the site I went to called for the wire. Anyway thanks for the comments. Brew

Seems that we have lost another one. Brings us down to a solid 8. These are huge and all look really healthy. Fur is coming in on them and they are pretty active as well. Exciting to see them grow. Brew

Well the doe and kits are actually in a large aquarium. I can keep this in the garage with a light for the kits since it has been cold. The buck is in a wire hutch, though he spends days out in a fenced garden area that is around 40X20 after some odds and ends chicken coop, chicken run etc...

Granted lumber is pricey but this was free. I needed good sawhorses and this lumber fit the bill. With all of the pallets and crates I have gotten lately I have plenty of lumber for projects. Still have 48 feet plus of the free stuff as well. Win win. As for the load of bricks that sounds...

Indeed you do. I will say that the Ducklings are getting bigger and it is time for them to move to a more permanent home. Lucky for me I scored a huge amount of pallets and crates today from a local tractor, lawnmower shop. Looks like i have some weekend plans. Brew
