It seems that more and more guides i'm reading say to purify with the olive oil method. I'm looking for something more natural to our area if thats possible (Ohio US) Does anyone know others natural ways to purify lanolin?

How hard do you all think it would be to make your own carders? I'm looking atm - i also plan to make my own wheel to....... not right now but once i get the parts gathered perhaps.
