    Your suggestion is a fine one. I have vowed to clean up some of these bad areas around me this spring, and make some noise while I do it. Its a community thing year round, not just green up day. Green up day around here is the most important parts of the town and leave the rest...:idunno

    I just had to be part of this because , I remember to...So how old does that make us.??? LOL I live next to a rail yard and often take a walk up and down the tracks , not only is the garbage unsightly but all of the old steel laying around , never to be used.Dang...They don't even dig up old...

    I totally agree Britesea. Being self reliant is whats going to make a difference. The only down fall will be those people who call us over the top and crazy.

    A very bad situation , and it gets worse every day. A lot of it is the big guys , and when its all said and done they just pack there bags pile up there big money and move some were else.We the people are left to clean up the mess.:somad

    What a great way of to care for my out door needs. Last summer was my first year I't made a little more work for me. But free !!! I also hear that rain water is much better for your plants than tap. This year I'm going to make some changes to the way my set up is , so it is much less work for me...

    Smart Kenyan boy sets an example for us!

    I think it is wonderful for him at such a young age to help his family and others to be safer and to have the courage to make a change in the way things are done. Imagine if the elders didn't believe in that boy simply because he was just that, a boy. I am sure he has just begun. :clap
