    Average Joe MREs

I wasn't thinking of vacuum sealing per se, although that would have a role. Your budget is certainly a determining issue, obviously. I think we are all feeling the pinch at the checkout line these days, regardless of what our salaries are. I'm not sure that waiting to buy it all at once is a...

    Average Joe MREs

If you're breaking into your MREs, they'll be both nourishment and morale rats. Plan accordingly. Think what you'd like to be consuming at the end of a long day stuck out in inclement weather, for instance. Or in the dark when you're feeling around in a buttpack by feel for the package contents...

Sometimes its unwitting, like stuffing a bunch of scrolls into caves where they remain forgotten and undiscovered for millennia. Other times, more intentional in nature. We owe...

    Sufficient-Self Preparedness Library

Memory is pretty cheap, and getting cheaper. Good to back up any information on your hard drive from time to time. Beyond that, maybe picking and choosing information from the categories you want while disregarding other stuff you don't want might work for some people with limited storage capacity.

    Sufficient-Self Preparedness Library

I know that yours is an older post, and I don't know what the group did with this idea, but I have an organized compilation running 120 gigs of data that I share with other preppers via a high capacity thumbdrive that I send around on request. All I would need is a snail mail address and an...
