What a throw back! Robotic printers have completely taken over pattern makers. It’s interesting that school shop classes were touted as training for an actual job and kids encouraged to use their own money to buy tools And practice on their own dime. Now kids want to be paid to learn on someone else’s equipment and their boss take all risk and expense of them ruining pieces and machinery.

I still woodwork much like in the 1940's video, although my hand tools are little bit more modern.
