She got me Gene Logsdon's book Holy <Poop>.
I skimmed through it last night, reading here & there and learned something about dung beetles.

Did you know that wormers kill the larvae of dung beetles as well as worms? Dung beetles can reduce the population of horn flies by up to 95% (found that out after doing a little more research online) Check it out here. http://attra.ncat.org/attra-pub/dungbeetle.html
