Hmm... I don't suppose that would affect my uncle.. they're about an hour away from Pasadena in a town called Wrightwood

California geography- I'm about 80 miles from the Oregon border on the coast. About 10 miles from the center of this quake.
San Franciso is about 260 miles south and the SO Cal people are at least 600-800 miles south from me.
If I didn't feel it 14 miles away, it's unlikely anyone much south of me was effected by it. According to the news, it was felt only about 49 miles south of here.
All OK- no damage anywhere.

It was definitely too far away for me to feel anything. I'm about an hour north of San Francisco.

We do have some good rain though ;)

Not Wyoming but near Kentucky on the Mississippi River. I'm just nor-east of it.

Yellowstone is a super volcano. Maybe the biggest, I think it goes off every 100,000 years or so. Supposedly effects global climate for a few years.

Cool National geographic article on it a while back.

Hmmm Wrightwood is nice, isn't that where OJ lived?
