I found this on the Farmer's Almanac Web Page and thought it was interesting.
Its a list called A MONTH OF BEST DAYS.
It lists the best days of the month to complete each listed task according to the moon cycle.

So, Natalie, you're telling me Greg and Bill should have waited til the 17th to dig those postholes? Too late!

Hey maybe now I can talk Bill into putting ours in, I can tell him he only has that one week at the end of august and then who knows when it will be safe to dig post holes again.
Well on the bright side, they haven't missed the right days for them to castrate farm animals.
