I did the same thing. Downsized my chickens to nearly nothing, sold two of my chicken houses, gave away my ducks, took down our pig lot, tore down the garden fences. I didn't even can the first vegetable or fruit this year. I just decided no more,...I don't know why. I just felt that need to give it all up. It has been nice,..and quiet since them loud ducks left here,..BUT,..I want more chickens, again. I want the pig lot put back up(fresh pork :drool ), and I want the fence finished so Ican get my goats this spring. Here I go again. I have projects rolling around in my head everywhere. DH just looks at me with a blank look,...I think he thinks I am nuts.........

All I want for Christmas is ... just enough SS for me!

I downsized my chickens years ago. Lots of farmer types looked at me like I was nuts with my six backyard hens. But four to six hens give me all the eggs I need to eat - nice and fresh - and are very little work.

This year I am smallerizing my garden. So I want ...

More goat panels ... they cut down into the grandest tomato stakes!
More straw ... to build up some new beds in my front yard (of all places). :p
More clover seed. I really want to work on an all clover lawn!!
