I do make my own soap a couple of times a year, but I haven't heard of Essential Depot before. Most of the ingredients I use, I get from local sources.

I hope it was OK to post things like that here, I remembered seeing a post summoning forumites to post deals and sales but I remembered after I posted that it was on another forum.

Anyhow, they have lye on for 33.33 for 32 pounds. I get mine from a commercial supplier for less than that but it is still a pretty good deal.

Also, I have no affiliation with them and I don't even buy from them but I know several people who do buy from them and they are quite reputable... The UPS shipping to Canada really bites, literally, I was missing a piece of a limb last time I received a package delivered by UPS ground.
