YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!:ep Around here piglets go for about $35.00. Unless you are looking for something with papers and proper bloodlines like 'Sired by Sir Hogsalot out of Lady Pigeeta' or some such. But if you want some pigs for bacon and porkchops you don't have to go for that! Check with local pig farmers and sometimes you might also check at your local Co-Op. Or even TSC. They usually have a board that folks advertise on. Let folks know you are in the market and see what turns up. ;):thumbsup

that is way to much unless they are show pigs I got mine for 35 each the highest around here so far is 60 .00 , go to a animal sale barn if u can u might find a deal there but I would never pay that much for a pig unless i was getting into breeding them

Most people want 50-100.00 per pig. :( What the truck!!! MY little one wants to raise one now. We'll get one but we'll be patient.

Had a quick look at the local craigslist here - $35.00 to $40.00 is the going rate. My daughter raised a pig for 4H years ago - I don't remember what we paid but I know she wouldn't have got a pig if it cost that much! Those must be some kinda pigs!!
