OMG I feel for you. Barking dogs at night is like chalk on blackboard to me. UGH truly horrible situation!

no idea if it works. but it says "train" the dog....so just pointing it at them I don't think will work.

My Dad has this problem right now. He goes in his garden and the 2 idiot mutts are behind an electric fence....they lay right near the property line and bark at my Dad in the garden. Drives him insane. Thing is he likes the neighbors lol---so he asked me to buy him a silent dog whistle. Again the package says "train" your dog not to bark, do commands, blah blah......he blew it at the dogs and they barked louder HA HA

but those dogs are in at night so no night barking tho and that is a big plus.

best you can do is tell her to stop the barking....truly WZ you don't have to spend your money....it is up to the owner to stop the barking. they have to bring them inside or in a gargage or something for the neighbors.

hope you get it fixed...feel for you. been there, and it isn't fun listening to BARK BARK all night!

Where are the owners while their dogs are disturbing the neighbors? Snoozing soundly while you are awake? It hardly seems fair. I keep my dogs inside at night but if they bark the least bit, I get up and stop them. I would not want my dogs disturbing my neighbors.

It might. Our grandson has a high pitch frequency sound on his cell phone and it sure gets our dogs attention.

Does the neighbor work at night so they're unaware of the dogs barking? Talking to them might help. Maybe they don't know the dogs are barking all night long.

If you live in town, there must be some kind of local noise/nuisance ordinance. A visit from a cop and a fine or two might help if the note or talking to them doesn't.

If not, then I'd record the dogs barking and play it back really loud, aimed at their bedroom windows while they're sleeping.

Many towns do have noise ordinances- depending on how enthusiastically they are enforced it may help to call. It will at least get it on record that they are barking. I don't know about here, but in my last place dogs couldn't bark between 10pm and 6am.

We had neighbors that would put their dog out at 4:00 AM when they left for work. And the dumb thing would bark non stop for an hour or two. I'll confess, I wasn't in any mood to talk to them (nor would they have wanted me to) since I was several months pregnant, and miserable from the heat. So, I called the cops. Problem solved.

yea the cops are already paid by ya....might as well use them when needed.

my old neighbor had a hound dog tied out....bark bark bark all night and then it would howl...that hound dog howl...LOL

OMG tear out my hair, but fortunately they divorced real soon after getting the dog and hubby/dog moved in with his mommy.....whew.
sometimes good things do come from a divorce.

I have a donkey problem. (well not problem but honestly he can get annoying ) thing is the donkey isn't constant. but WOW when that donkey goes nuts he can be heard for miles I think...he is in the back pasture behind mine and when he goes off into his donkey bray.....scares people. My Mom was here, that donkey let off, and Mom freaked, WHAT WAS THAT? :ep she was checking the woods for a Godzilla type critter LOL

the ultrasonic bark stoppers often work for a few days, then the dogs get used ot the sound and it doesnt bother them anymore (ive tried a number of them)

my suggestion, check your town ordinances for noise and call the cops EVERY time you hear them.

i hate inconsiderate people who seem to be mmune to their dogs barking (or have soundproofed homes) stick the dogs outside and let everyone else in the area have to deal with it...*ugh*

We have the EXACT same problem! Neighbors across the street have 2 beagles that they pay absolutely no attention to. Poor things are stuck in a cage in the yard 24/7. No wonder they bark all the time! They started up at about 5 this morning, and were barking again when we got up around 9. The wife is always home there, and I really don't understand how it doesn't drive her crazy!

We are moving in a week or so, so we're not going to get into it with them, but I definitely considered buying one of those ultrasonic devices. The problem with calling the cops around here is that the guys is a CO and friends with all of them. :/
