Hey guys, we are trying to figure out where to put the bees so they have good morning sun but the best spot is right out in the open. We need to construct some sort of windbreak that is like 4-6ft tall but hubby doesn't want evergreen trees or a fence cause it is right in the middle of the pasture next to another fence under two new sugar maples. We have existing fence on the back side but want to plant something in front of it so the hives are hidden from view from the road and don't get the full brunt of the wind. Any ideas what would be a good shrub that would provide windbreak all year round? Here's a rough diagram
