I'm looking for a website that has a lot of ideas for experiments or learning projects for my preschooler.
I've done a search on-line but I am overwhelmed.
What are the best ones?

I used this website for nice printable worksheets: http://edhelper.com/

I would give my daughter a hands on lesson, on say the difference between mammals and the other vertebrates. Then print out a worksheet on the subject for her to do as a follow up.

I actually joined the site, and paid I think $15 or so, but you don't have to join. You just get fewer choices as a non member.

Good luck! I have a feeling that this isn't exactly what you were looking for, but you may find something on this site that helps you teach.

My favorite is www.starfall.com I absolutely love it. Well, I should say my kids do. It's a learning to read site, where they actually sit at the computer to learn the letters and basic reading skills. My kids love it. I used to have a couple more that I went to, but I can't for the life of me find them on my favorites list. I think they are mislabled.

Ok, I'll try again Jamsoundsgood. (By the way, every time you log on I begin to crave peanut butter and jelly! :drool )

I know this isn't a website it is a book. But it is my all time favorite book on how to make wonderful lessons for preschool aged children. It will help teach math, reading, independence etc. I LOVED IT!! Just thought I'd throw it out there. http://www.amazon.com/Workjobs-II-Number-Activities-Childhood/dp/0201043025

Honestly, I chose my name because I was craving my mom's homemade strawberry jam. So, now I make a LOT of jam every year. Really, my husband sometimes asks if we are going to ever store our fruit trees any other way, and I just ask "why?" The kids all like sandwhiches best anyway. We still run out every year.

I like www.gamequarium.com it gives you links to all sorts of activities and there is a separate preschool section. I have a 4 and a 2 yr old and we have done lots of stuff from it.
