Bug-out kit

[Outdoor Plumbing]

In the event of imminent disaster i.e. flood, terrorist attack, bio threat, whats in your bug-out kit?

We have:

-Dry foods
-soaps, paper, toothpastes, medications
-shotgun, rifle, pistol
-another place to go.

We currently have nothing. It is very scary to think about and I might think of things to put in it.

The three most important things in my opinion are

1) a way to get drinkable water, or purify mucky water

2) guns with plenty of ammo and preferrably reloading components.

3) seeds of food crops.

With those three things, you should be able to make it a long time, with a lot of work and a little luck.

That's not hard at all. We do have plenty of guns. And seeds. I think a water purifier would work better then bottled water.

We also have a change of clothing, thongs/flip-flops, pencil, paper, deck of cards, flashlight, and a battery operated radio.

My big thing is another place to go. We have a camper, and a small house. Does everyone have a plan? If you are at work or home, and it hits the fan, what do you do? We have a plan to meet up north, at our home in the stix.

While looking for canning supplies, I came across this kit. I think it's a good kit to base your emergency supplies on for little emergencies.
