I love mine. Leave the ring a little loose in the canner then tighten down after it comes out . My original test jars are still sealed 9 years later.
Normally would only use these on high use items where the jar gets used every year.

I have heard people say when using a Tattler to put the rings on like normal and then loosen 1/4 turn. I didn't know about tightening afterward until I read the link, so I'm glad a "pro" can confirm it. I'm less worried now. I started prepping for next batches of caning but probably won't get to them for a couple days.
