Cracking Hazelnuts

The Foraging thread got me thinking about hazelnuts. We didnt have any domestic or wild hazelnuts this year, but I still have some from 2017. I have thfm because they're so difficult to crack that its not worth the effort. 😅

I tried this hack tonight and it works!

yes! and it may be adaptable to other nuts that are bigger with bigger wrenches. thanks for the tip! my hands will thank you for this in the future if i ever go back to cracking nuts again (black walnuts).
