Everyone has different water, this one works great with my hard well water.
I cup baking soda
1/4 cup citric acid
1 TBLSP Dawn (any brand will do)
Silicone ice cube tray or peanut butter cup mold (I use this, it's the perfect size)
Mix the baking soda and citric acid in a large bowl. Add the dish liquid and mix well using a wisk or hour hand. Push the mixture into the molds. They'll expand. Mash down again and wait ten minutes before leveling them off or giving them a final mash. Let them dry for at least 4 hours or overnight. They'll harden up like purchased tabs.
Store in an airtight jar.
If I have some extra greasy dishes, I'll put one in the dispenser cup and throw one in the bottom of the dishwasher. For some reason, my dishes come out better WITHOUT using vinegar as a rinse aid with these tabs.
