While I have also been spending way too much on those really interesting, unusual and hard to find seed, I have been saving my own, one in particular is Nigella- an old type of love in the mist. The flowers come in blue white and pink and I use the seed in my cooking, now that I actually have enough to do so....it tastes...flowery but goes great in lots of things.
This week I've harvest the seed from the NZ Iris and have that drying out of the sun for who every wants some.
For now, I decided that I needed to start using my seed rather than saving it, and have some interesting seedlings coming along that I hope to save seed from, come autumn/winter.
