Do you wear gloves when working in the garden?

I hate wearing gloves unless I'm working with something especially prickly. I try to to save my skin though. I own 3 pairs of gardening gloves and every left hand glove has a hole at the tip of the index finger. :rolleyes:

Also a fan of yardwork in flip flops.

Another Brown Recluse fact.....the bites can re-occur later at various points on your body, not necessarily where you were previously bitten. Also, the bite can cause long term organ damage.

My son has been bitten by BR spiders numerous times. It was gross, painful and we don't know what will come of it down the road. He was luckier than some, as I have seen horrible things caused by these spiders and it usually requires a lot of plastic surgery in the end.

Me too! I have tried to stop that, though, as I have stepped on a few stray sticks or piece of wire that go through them . .

Okay...now I'm going to show my age. I remember when flip flops were called thongs in America. :D :p
