I saw on the ABC News with Charlie Gibson tonight where there are a group of people in N.H. that want to ban hanging clothes outside on the clothes lines. The people who are hanging their clothes outside live in condos. To me they need to get a life. You can read the article on abc.com in the news section under Science and Tech.
If you hang your clothes outside you are saving money. If you are saving money you are saving energy. If you are saving energy you are saving our planet. Need I say more.

Hanging clothes outside also makes them last longer (where do you think the lint comes from), smell better and the sun sterilizes and bleaches them for free.

However, if any of the members of your household are allergic to dust mites, put your clothing and bedding into the dryer on high for ten minutes.
