Dutch Windmills question

Has anyone ever been inside one? Did people actually live in them or did they just use them to grind flour and such?
I know silly question but I am curious.

Thanks. I am just curious. Wonder what the inside of one looks like. I have seen some that looks as if the main part is a house.
