Eggs

So while at the feed store there was a sign for Eggs for sale " Farm Fresh Eggs"
So are Eggs always called farm fresh ?
What if someone has layers and NO farm only back yard hens , Are they still called Farm Fresh ? Or if no farm exists how about Fresh Eggs or Eggs for sale ?
If you have a ranch with layers are the ranch eggs ??

Lol, years a ago, I introduced a co worker to backyard eggs. Blew her away.

She and her husband were inspired to visit a farmer's market.

Came back on Monday asking me what "range eggs" were. Being confused, I asked a number of questions.

Turns out a vendor was displaying a sign for "Free Range Eggs". Even though they thought they were free, they weren't going to get some without knowing what range eggs were. 😀
