I saw that guy on the Survivor Man show make one of those in the desert once. Very cool!!

Bear on Man vs Wild also did it using sea water; he soaked his tee shirt & set it in the hole, only the fresh water condensed, I guess the salt stayed on the shirt.

I've wondered how it would work if you put water in a dish pan, then set a plastic bowl in that, then placed the whole thing in a plastic bag. I've been meaning to try it, but never remember.
