Super Self-Sufficient
The topic of health and hot-metal fumes, in the home-shop situation, came up in the recent 'learning to weld' thread. Here are a couple of YouTube vids that illustrate some useful ideas - similar to what I use in my shop.

I don't always make use of something like this - given that sometimes I've got a a very small, quick job that I can do outdoors in the open air. But sometimes fume ventilation or exhaust is clearly a very good idea.
I'd be interested in other presentations of methods for this. Maybe there are some ideas out there, just as good or better.
