The other forums don't mention it so I guess it goes here.

I have 2 diesel engines on equipment I own. One is 80hp
the other is 45. The guards can be removed to expose the pulley. My question is; does anyone know if I can purchase a generator that I can use with my own power
source? I have gone through scores of Google hits but all the generators come with their own power supply. I would
think that I could get more generating ability for my money
by just purchasing the generator and using my own power
source. Any ideas?

I know there are ones you can attach to a tractor PTO, maybe something like that? Talk to a farm implement dealership?

Good luck,

Pat

I never thought of that. I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

That's odd. We have a harbor freight here but when I asked the manager, he looked at me like I was from another planet. Guess I'll look online. Thanks.
