Pie! I can't remember how much cornstarch you mix into the liquid before cooking to thicken it though.
We always just ate them for desert when I was a kid. We didn't have a lot of money and ate simply. Fruit (fresh or canned) was the common desert if we even had one. With access to tons of grapes, we had canned and dried grapes a lot.
