Today is my very first Mother's day

I didn't have to get out of bed at 6:30, hubby got up and fed the animals, warmed up a bottle, fed and changed Aeryn, and is now cooking what smells like a fantastic breakfast!

I'm so excited... I got a burning bush for my Mother's Day present... I've wanted one for a while

What a fantastic morning!

This morning I

fed the horses, sheep, chickens, ducks, dogs

cleaned up the kitchen

fixed the toilet

made a pot of coffee

and let my family sleep in...

yeah, we deserve "a day", I don't care if it is Hallmark's idea.

About 5 minutes ago I got a big hug and a kiss on the cheek from a sleepy teenage daughter she "made" me a big bowl of grapes for breakfast. Oh, and a homemade card to boot. That will do.
